Solar moduls

The solar panel is a flat construction that resembles a window. It is designed with technology that generates electricity from your energy using photovoltaics.

Solar modules generate direct voltage (DC) from solar energy directly.

Each solar cell has only 0.5V voltage, so several cells are interconnected, representing a solar module. These are due to the strength and not rust in anodized aluminum frames. At the front they are protected by a special type of tempered glass thickness of 3.2-3.6 mm, which protects against the weather.

Each solar panel can have:

- at least 36 solar cells -> for 12V system

- 60 solar cells -> for 24 V system

- 72 solar cells -> for 24 V system

Which means that the nominal voltage of solar panels is 12v or 24V. Solar modules also connect to each other. This increases the power of the modules and the voltage.

Cleaning and maintenance

It is not necessary to clean the solar modules, as this is caused by rain. Even if they are a little dusty, this does not affect the effect of the solar panels. However, if the modules contain large bird droppings, large amounts of dust or other dirt (near quarries, macadam roads, etc.), they should be cleaned periodically with an ordinary cloth and water. Pay special attention to dirt along the EDGE of the module.

In the case of snow in winter, it is usually not necessary to clean the solar modules, because due to the slope of the snow, the snow will quickly slip out of the modules.

How to get bidirectional voltage (AC)?

With the help of the entire solar kit, you can obtain DC voltage (DC), and in addition to the solar module, you need a suitable solar battery, a charging regulator that will regulate the battery so that it does not overcharge or discharge. You also need an inverter that converts direct current electricity from solar cells into AC voltage. From the ratio you can use consumers (lights, TV, refrigerator, radio, etc.) of electricity. The standard system is designed to stop working when there is a possibility of a power outage.
