Solar batteries are a very important part of the solar system, be it small or large. Its purpose is to store the collected energy and when needed, it emits it. The task of the battery is also to absorb the large starting currents that some users have at start-up and to stabilize the voltage. The voltage itself is most important in the operation of some consumers (TV, refrigerator, computers, radio, etc.).

In the case of a battery, its sizing is very important, otherwise the losses in the solar system will increase even more. This means that the right choice of battery capacity (Ah) is required, otherwise the battery will not be able to store all the energy collected from the solar module. Thus, the effectiveness of the system will be greatly reduced. Overcharging the battery, on sunny days when it is fully charged, can damage the battery or even cause it to explode. The charging regulator helps us with this, which prevents overcharging and complete discharge of the battery.

Solar batteries in a solar system are charged only when there is enough solar energy, which travels through the solar panel to the battery, and is discharged when consumers are connected to it (computer, TV, refrigerator, radio, etc.).

Batteries for solar systems are cyclic, so they are not suitable for cars, and vice versa!
